Nitazenes Awareness (e-Learning)

Do you know what nitazenes are? 

Nitazenes are a type of manmade drug, known as a synthetic opioid, which mimics the effects of opiates such as heroin. In the past few years, nitazenes have been identified in the drug supply in Scotland. This short course is designed to help you understand the risks nitazenes may cause, and how to be prepared to manage these risks. 

Learning Objectives 

By the end of this course, participants will understand: 

• What nitazenes are, 
• What risks nitazenes pose, and 
• How to mitigate the risks of nitazenes.
