About
Scottish Drugs Forum – Improving Scotland’s approach to drug-related issues.

Our Vision
A Scotland free from drug-related health and social harm.
Our Mission
To improve Scotland’s approach to drug-related issues. We influence this through our work by striving for compassionate, inclusive, evidence informed policy and practice.

SDF Learning Centre
The SDF Learning Centre is the Scottish Drugs Forum’s dedicated centre for training and skills development for all learners in Scotland who are interested in learning about substances and related issues.
Our team works to reduce drug-related harm, by providing a learning offering that promotes non-judgemental and trauma-informed support, to empower people in Scotland to challenge drug stigma when they encounter it.
Whether you are a forward-facing professional, volunteer, community member, or someone with lived and living experience, our learning offering helps you build confidence, deepen knowledge, and strengthen practical skills.
SDF Staff
We lead in delivering inclusive, impactful training to a broad range of learners, from health and social care staff to housing workers, educators, criminal justice professionals, recovery communities, and members of the public.
Our programmes are evidence-based, community-informed, and designed to reflect the realities and challenges of those working in and affected by substance use.
