Enhancing Core Communication Skills (Online, Scotland Wide)

This facilitator led course allows for the opportunity to practice core communication skills with a focus on expressing accurate empathy through reflective listening skills. 

Course objectives:  

• Observe and debrief a demonstration of the interpersonal style and core communication skills used in a helping relationship 

• Practise the interpersonal style and primary core communication skills  

Informed Level: The informed level specifies the baseline practice-specific knowledge and skills every worker in the drugs and alcohol sector should be developing upon entering employment. 

Please do not book training on another person’s behalf, each learner should set up their own account on the SDF Learning Centre to book their own training. This allows the learner to track their own learning progress and receive certificates on completion of training for their CPD records.
