This facilitator led course aims to allow participants to understand how to effectively respond to and engage with individuals who use cannabis/synthetic cannabinoids
Course objectives:
- Give an overview of the current trends with cannabis including synthetic cannabinoids 
- Recall the main effects and side effects of cannabis 
- Identify the typical presenting issues for problematic cannabis use 
- Recall effective techniques for working with cannabis users including harm reduction 
Informed Level: The informed level specifies the baseline practice-specific knowledge and skills every worker in the drugs and alcohol sector should be developing upon entering employment.
Please do not book training on another person’s behalf, each learner should set up their own account on the SDF Learning Centre to book their own training. This allows the learner to track their own learning progress and receive certificates on completion of training for their CPD records.
