This facilitator led course will explore the key issues relating to Psychostimulant use including Cocaine in Scotland. Identifying the effects and impacts and effective strategies and techniques for working with people who use stimulants.
Course objectives:
- Discuss the current and emerging trends with psychostimulants.
- Discuss the key psychostimulants in use including cocaine, amphetamines and MDMA.
- Identify effective strategies for working with people who use pyschostimulants including harm reduction.
Informed Level: The informed level specifies the baseline practice-specific knowledge and skills every worker in the drugs and alcohol sector should be developing upon entering employment.
Please do not book training on another person’s behalf, each learner should set up their own account on the SDF Learning Centre to book their own training. This allows the learner to track their own learning progress and receive certificates on completion of training for their CPD records.
